The Hermosa Beach Triathlon presented by Libertana partnered with Sophia’s Buddies Foundation, a charitable cause very dear to our hearts, since 2022.
Founded by her parents in memory of Sophia, who fought stage 4 neuroblastoma for 2 1/2 years before becoming an angel at the age of 4 years old, the Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to help support families and hospitals, and to spread awareness through local communities regarding childhood cancer.
Our goal this year is to raise at least $10,000 for Sophia’s Buddies Foundation, and the Hermosa Beach Triathlon will match the first $5,000.
